We are in the middle of the longest government shutdown this country has experienced, which has caused 42 million Americans to lose SNAP benefits, which includes 3.5 million Floridians without access to funds for FOOD. Instead, our state Legislature wants to use this opportunity to possibly gerrymander our already egregious congressional map to gain an even more unfair advantage for this administration to complete enacting Project 2025 into law. And OH YEAH... THE GREATEST SOUL SINGER OF THE MODERN ERA HAS BECOME AN ANCESTOR IN THE MIDST OF THE WORLD SLOWLY BURNING.
So, our hosts Jamal STEELE and Natasha Sutherland called our friends Rhyane Wagner, Senior Policy Manager of Black Voters Matter, music artist and host of On The Ave Podcast, Broadway Louie, and State Representative Michele K. Rayner to discuss Mid decade redistricting in Florida, the Government Shutdown and it's implications on SNAP benefits being cut, and the untimely passing of Michael Eugene Archer, better known to the Soul music culture as D'Angelo.
